Boiler & Machinery Inspector:
Northwest US /

Responsibilities include jurisdictional inspections and risk assessments of boilers, pressure vessels & machinery at client locations:
- Providing industry expert risk assessment services for customers and business partners focusing on machinery breakdowns.
- Provide consultative services to customers to help reduce the frequency and severity of machinery breakdowns losses by conducting a proactive analysis of their current operating practices.
Must have National Board Commission.
Account Manager:
Chemical Oil & Gas
Role will include performing risk evaluations and risk prevention services. This may include loss prevention surveys, account/ location report reviews, account engineering, claims investigations, and the oversight of jurisdictional inspections of high risk exposure accounts in the chemical/oil & gas industries. Will perform inspection and analysis of the risks associated with the operation of electrical and mechanical equipment, process equipment, boilers and unfired pressure vessels.
Must be willing to travel domestic and international.
BS degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
Must have experience in both the chemical / oil & gas industry and insurance loss control.
National Board Commission a plus.
Senior Risk Engineering Consultant: Indianapolis, IN
Experienced Machinery Breakdown Inspector.
Responsibilities include risk assessment and jurisdictional inspection of vessels at client locations:
- Providing industry expert risk assessment services for customers and business partners focusing on machinery breakdowns.
- Provide consultative services to customers to help reduce the frequency and severity of machinery breakdowns losses by conducting a proactive analysis of their current operating practices.
Must have "National Board Commission" as well as "A" or "B" endorsements.

Staff Account Engineer: Chicago - in the Loop
Major insurance company desires "technical driven" boiler and machinery engineer to provide industry expertise and risk assessment services to customers and business partners. Offer advanced safety consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and hazard/safety management programs. Provide advanced level training for customers, service design and coordination, mentoring, marketing, and loss investigations. Some field work.
Must have "National Board Commission".
Engineering Degree a plus.

Available Positions for ASME Code Inspectors
ASME Technical Consultant: Houston, TX
Nationally recognized Authorized Inspection Agency desires technical expertise of the ASME Code to be in house technical consultant for the region.
Individual must be willing to manage projects and handle file reviews.
Responsible for proper documentation, as required, for the PED, IBR, Japanese MOL, DOT, TPED, ADR/RID, IMDG and other foreign inspection codes.
Develop Inspection Checklists and Job instructions for Codes to maintain Quality Assurance on all deliverables, both internal and external. Provide on-the-job training for authorized inspectors, help develop and assist with the implementation of formal training programs. Provide field offices with operational, technical, and staff development. Candidate must be willing to manage projects and handle file reviews.
Maintain an awareness of applicable regulatory and technological developments. Prepare and disseminate directives and procedures, subject to management review, to ensure proper application of inspection requirements.
Strong knowledge of the ASME Code Standards.
Must have National Board Commission with "A" or "B" endorsement and PED Certification.
Some travel required.
ASME Technical Specialist: Houston, TX
Develop & design web based platform for nationally known Authorized Inspection Agency. Develop technical information which addresses ASME Code issues and changes, as well as foreign codes, which are to be placed on the website. Develop platform of technical information and content for Webinar training.
Produce relevant and comprehensive ASME Code Synopsis and Bulletins to provide added value to our clients and enhance staff technical expertise.
Respond to questions for customers and staff with regard to ASME Code.
Work with other members of the Technical Staff in producing and distributing specialized technical information which they have developed.
Assist all regions with technical issues and any other special projects assigned.
Maintain an awareness of applicable regulatory and technological developments. Prepare and disseminate directives and procedures, subject to management review, to ensure proper application of inspection requirements.
Requires strong ASME Non Nuclear working knowledge and background.
Should have minimum 7 years experience with design of pressure equipment and inspection activity within ASME fabrication manufacturers.
Must have excellent writing skills.
Possess National Board Commission with either "A" or "B" endorsement.
